I'm Sean Potter, an ECMK-accredited Domestic Energy Assessor based in North Yorkshire. I bring more than 20 years of experience in property, including estate agency, property management and residential energy assessment.
My experience
My career has given me a practical understanding of residential property from several different perspectives. I have also owned and run my own property business for the past 15 years and am a landlord myself, so I understand the practical considerations that property owners face. That experience helps me provide EPC assessments that are clear, professional and useful to homeowners, landlords and property professionals.
Worked as a property consultant across sales and lettings, gaining hands-on experience of the residential property market.
Worked self-employed carrying out approximately 2,000 residential EPCs for estate agents and letting businesses including Hudson Moody and Preston Baker.
For the past 15 years I have owned and run my own business in the property sector and am also a landlord, giving me first-hand experience of owning, managing and improving residential property.
Returned to domestic energy assessment alongside running and managing my property businesses. I am currently accredited with ECMK.
